Raffaele Bolla

Raffaele Bolla was born in Savona, Italy, in 1963. He took the “laurea” degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Genoa in 1989 and the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications at the Department of Communications, Computer and Systems Science (DIST) of the University of Genoa, in 1994. From 1996 to 2004 he was researcher at DIST and since 2004 he has been Associated Professor at DIST. He teaches a courses in Telecomunication Networks and Telematics for the degrees in Electronic and Communication Engineering at the University of Genoa.


His current research interests are in resource allocation, call admission control and routing in multiservice IP networks, multiple access control, resource allocation and routing in both cellular and ad hoc wireless network, He has authored or co-authored over 100 scientific publications in international journals and conference proceedings. He has been Principal Investigator in many projects in the field of Telecommunication Networks.
