An effective management structure, articulated in few governing bodies with clear and focused responsibilities, has been established for the TREND NoE to ensure the active involvement of project participants at the policy-making level.
The following governing bodies are envisaged:
- the Project Co-ordinator (with the Project Office and the Project Leader) is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all the activities to be implemented within TREND;
- the General Assembly is the strategic body where all NoE partners are involved;
- the JPA Committee (JPAC) is the executive body, which is in charge of the overall integration process.
In addition, in order to counsel the governing bodies in their main decisions, an External Advisory Board (EAB) is also foreseen, which will act as an independent body providing high-level advice and an evaluation of the JPA and of progresses towards integration.
